Product Description
NDAS technology is built on the foundation of Ethernet network, using standard network switches. Both Fibre Channel and iSCSI require proprietary protocol converters and storage networks, while NDAS is built entirely on accepted industry standards. So, while NDAS is entering the storage market as a new architecture, in many ways it is more "standards-based" than its competition.
Measured by performance, availability, scalability or affordability, NDAS outperforms any storage technology. NDAS enables direct connection of physical drive to each client over the Ethernet, removing performance restrictions common in other approaches like CPU bottle-neck and traffic overloads.
