Wi-Fi Phone for Skype

This Wi-Fi Phone for Skype is for users who need mobility and cost effective voice calls over the Internet. It's intended to help users make Skype calls at home, work or campus without the hassle of having to turn on your computer. It is based on the 802.11b/g standard so it is compatible with almost all standard Access Points on the market. The users can enjoy the benefit of free calls within the Skype network, and cost effective using Skype's paid services such as SkypeIn and SkypeOut.

Once configured, users will not have to remember the SSID or security of each AP as the phone can store this information and will connect automatically to the closest of your preferred wireless networks at startup. Mobility is enhanced with the phone interface for making any configuration changes both quick and easy.

		With the embedded Skype software the WSKP100 can utilize allmost all of Skype functions such as conference calls, search through Skype's user base, voice mail, and even Skype In/Out services without turning on the PC.

		With an improved power-saving mechanism, the WSKP100 can be used for a relatively long period of standby and talk time. The WSKP100 is available wherever and whenever users need it.

		The WSKP100 will allow users to achieve mobility with the support of the 802.11b/g wireless standard. With the support of 802.11g the WSKP100 will not slow down network throughput while running in a pure 802.11g wireless environment.

		With Quality of Service the WSKP100 will maintain exceptonal quality in a shared wireless voice and data network by priorytizing voice traffic to have higher priority than data packets.

		The WSKP100 supports Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP). With WEP the WSKP100 is designed to provide the same level of security as that of a wired LAN.
